Sioma Ngwezi Park
Zambia’s Third Largest Park

Sioma Ngwezi Park is the third largest Park in Zambia and covers an area of 5000 square kilometres. Previously heavily poached, the Park is now recovering as can be seen in the increasing numbers of wildlife.

Wildlife

Sioma Ngwezi is full of game species which includes a variety of bird species, hyena, giraffe, impala, cheetah, wild dog, sable, roan, zebra, kudu, duiker, buffalo, hippo, crocodile, lion and leopard. Sioma Ngwezi National Park is also home to over 3000 elephants.

Out And About

Sioma Camp offers game walks, game drives and birding safaris in Sioma Ngwezi. Apart from game viewing, Tiger fishing on the mighty Zambezi River is also popular. Another attraction is the Ngonye Falls. Although the Ngonye Falls cannot rival the Victoria Falls in height, the volume of water pouring down is second only to the Victoria Falls.
