Gwabi River Lodge offers friendly accommodation on the banks of the Kafue River. The lodge is open all year round.
The lodge is 6 kilometres from where the Kafue River empties into the mighty Zambezi River and about 2 hours’ drive from Lusaka.
The offers nine en-suite air-conditioned chalets which accommodates two adults and a maximum of up to four in a family arrangement. Camping facilities with barbecue and ablution facilities are also available.
At Gwabi, you can indulge yourself in a lot of activities including fishing, birding and game viewing.
The ecosystem supports a large number of bird species, making the area very exceptionally ideal for birding safaris. Birding lovers will enjoy the unspoilt scenery that prevails at the Lodge and surrounding area.
