Munga Eco Lodge has thatched-roof chalets, which feature an Africa –inspired design. Incidentally, “Munga” in local language means acacia tree.
The Lodge is located at about 6 kilometres at the southern edge of Livingstone, off Mosi-Oa-Tunya Road and just within a 10 minute drive to the Victoria Falls. Harry Mwaanga Nkumbula International Airport is 9 kilometres away.
The chalets, subtly integrated into the African bush have a private entrance, seating area and view. The beds are draped with mosquito nets and each room has a fan.
In line with its name “Eco”, the Lodge try’s to operate in a sustainable manner. It has many novel features for the culture enthusiast and the environmentally-conscious tourist. For example, it has thatched roofs for all the buildings and gets some of the organic products from its gardens.
The lodge offers free WiFi, an outdoor pool, lush garden and a restaurant. The Siliba Restaurant serves local as well as international food.
You will also find a bar and a library. Guests can enjoy a refreshing swim in the natural swimming pool.
An airport shuttle to the Airport can be arranged at a charge.
